Role Summary
Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for Service Validation across OTT, Streaming, STB, Mobile, Web, Smart TV, Broadband, Voice, and Smart Home services. Drive release validation, regression automation, defect reproduction, and root cause analysis within a large-scale automation ecosystem.
Must-Have Skills
1. Strong hands-on experience in Python automation development.
2. Hands-on experience with Selenium and Appium automation frameworks.
3. Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks, reusable libraries, and test utilities.
4. Experience automating Web, Android, iOS, Smart TV, Fire TV, Apple TV, and STB applications.
5. Strong understanding of REST APIs and Microservices-based architecture.
6. Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Git, Jira, and Xray.
7. Experience building and executing Functional, Regression, End-to-End, and Interoperability automation suites.
8. Strong debugging and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills using logs, telemetry, packet captures, and execution reports.
9. Experience reproducing production issues through automation and validating defect fixes.
10. Knowledge of OTT Streaming, Broadband, Voice, Smart Home, and Entertainment service validation.
11. Experience supporting high-volume automated regression executions and release validation cycles.
12. Experience integrating automated tests with enterprise test management and execution platforms.
13. Exposure to AI-assisted automation and intelligent test generation concepts.
Good to Have
1. Experience with Java based automation components and services.
2. Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
3. Experience with messaging frameworks.
4. Experience supporting STB automation and video validation platforms.
5. Experience with OpenCV, Tesseract OCR, and GStreamer.
6. Experience supporting distributed and parallel execution environments.
