Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced o9 IBP Functional Consultant to lead business-process discovery, functional design, and adoption of Integrated Business Planning solutions. The role connects business stakeholders with o9 configuration and technical teams, translating planning requirements into scalable solution designs across demand, supply, inventory, financial alignment, and S&OP/IBP processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead discovery workshops to understand current planning processes, pain points, decision rights, and target business outcomes.

· Design end-to-end IBP processes covering demand, supply, inventory, capacity, scenario planning, and executive S&OP.

· Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and configuration guidance.

· Define planning hierarchies, measures, assumptions, workflows, alerts, dashboards, and scenario-management requirements.

· Partner with o9 Configuration Consultants, Solution Architects, data teams, and integration teams to ensure functional design traceability.

· Guide business users through solution walkthroughs, design validation, conference-room pilots, UAT, and readiness assessments.

· Lead fit-gap analysis and recommend standard o9 capabilities before customization.

· Support data validation by defining business rules, reconciliation criteria, and planning-result acceptance thresholds.

· Facilitate cross-functional alignment among Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Technology teams.

· Prepare functional documentation, training content, operating procedures, and business adoption plans.

· Support cutover, hypercare, issue triage, and stabilization of IBP processes after go-live.

· Mentor junior functional consultants and contribute reusable IBP process assets and implementation practices.

Qualifications

· Minimum 9 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, S&OP/IBP, consulting, or enterprise planning transformation.

· At least 3 years of relevant experience with o9 Solutions or comparable planning platforms.

· Strong functional knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, capacity planning, and S&OP/IBP.

· Experience creating functional designs, user stories, process maps, test scenarios, and business requirement documents.

· Ability to facilitate senior stakeholder workshops and translate business needs into implementable solution requirements.

· Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in CPG/FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or another planning-intensive industry.

· Exposure to SAP IBP/APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder/JDA, Oracle SCM, or related planning solutions.

· o9 certification and experience with global-template or multi-country implementations.

· Understanding of master data, transactional data, ERP integration, reporting, and planning analytics.
