Job Description*

 

  • Lead development and execution of the cell stockpile strategy to support SOP, ramp-up, production stability, and contingency planning.
  • Establish stockpile targets, inventory policies, and replenishment plans based on production demand, lead times, supply risk, and business requirements.
  • Develop and manage repacking strategies for finished cell, including pallet optimization, packaging transitions, relabeling, and transportation compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate repacking activities across suppliers, external warehouses, 3PL providers, and plant operations to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and material traceability throughout stockpile and repacking processes, including serial number, lot, and batch management.
  • Lead planning and execution of stockpile inventory migration activities between warehouses, staging locations, and production facilities.
  • Develop and maintain stockpile inventory dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting for leadership review.
  • Monitor inventory aging, shelf-life requirements, storage conditions, and stock rotation to minimize obsolescence and quality risks.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous material handling, UN38.3 requirements, packaging standards, customs regulations, and transportation requirements.
  • Drive inventory reconciliation activities between MES, WMS, ERP (SAP S/4HANA), and physical inventory records.
  • Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions related to stockpile discrepancies, receiving errors, labeling issues, ASN inaccuracies, damaged materials, and inventory variances.
  • Coordinate engineering change implementation, material disposition, and inventory balance-out activities to minimize obsolete inventory exposure.
  • Support launch readiness reviews and material risk assessments by identifying supply constraints, stockpile gaps, and recovery plans.
  • Partner with Production Control, Material Control, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Suppliers to ensure alignment on inventory and repacking requirements.
  • Develop warehouse space utilization plans and stockpile storage strategies to maximize capacity and operational efficiency.
  • Manage external warehouse and 3PL performance related to stockpile storage, repacking operations, inventory accuracy, and service levels.
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and governance processes for stockpile and repacking operations.

•Business resources who play operational roles in a manufacturing facility – be process expert in their job function and know SAP as a business user.

Candidates with experience level in the range of 7-10 years
