The Role • This role is part of the Product & Solutions Marketing team within Cisco's Workplace Technology Group (WTG), which spans Collaboration, Networking, and other Cisco business areas. o The WTG marketing team is responsible for messaging, positioning, and go-to-market (GTM) execution for a vital portfolio of products, serving as a key growth engine for the company. • Reporting to the Senior Director of Solutions, you will support the execution of the "solution-level" marketing strategy for the Workplace Technology portfolio. o You will play a hands-on role in developing and scaling the content that communicates Cisco's vision to modernize how and where people work in the era of AI. o You will work closely with solutions marketers, product marketing managers, customer advocacy, sales, and engineering teams to translate innovation into compelling, market-ready stories. • This is an execution-focused role that blends content creation, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration. o You will help ensure Cisco's modernized workplace capabilities are clearly represented across web, events, and campaigns, and customer-facing channels.
Experience requirements • Experienced in Solutions or Product Marketing (5-7 years) in enterprise IT or B2B tech. • A strong storyteller capable of translating technical concepts-specifically AI, AgenticOps, networking, and collaboration-into clear, compelling content. • Skilled in interviewing stakeholders, including customers, engineers, and field teams, and turning those insights into reusable stories. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by creating content that drives impact across the business. • Motivated by hands-on execution, creative problem-solving, and building narratives that support Cisco's market leadership.
Key Responsibilities • Support the evolution of the narrative for Cisco's WTG solutions, addressing key market drivers like AI, workplace transformation, sustainability, and the future of work. • Create high-quality storytelling assets-including blogs, customer spotlights, solution narratives, presentations, and field-facing content-to showcase the future of the workplace. • Collaborate with sales, field marketing, and product marketing to ensure alignment on the "One Cisco" story. • Translate technical inputs from product and solution teams into clear, outcome-driven narratives that resonate with IT, HR, and real-estate audiences. • Contribute to go-to-market plans for modernizing and future-proofing workplaces. • Partner with customer advocacy to identify and develop customer success stories that highlight the impact of the Cisco portfolio. • Support storytelling efforts for major events, including regional innovation events, Cisco Live, and partner summits. • Maintain and organize content repositories that support GTM programs, solution campaigns, and field enablement. • Research competitive differentiation to help highlight why Cisco's unique capabilities make us a trusted partner |
