Data Architecture and Modeling
Role Description:
The Senior Fabric OneLake Data Modeler is responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise data models. They will define enterprise facts, dimensions, and relationships while facilitating data modeling workshops. Establishing enterprise standards for data modeling and reviewing data designs prior to development are key tasks. The role also involves coaching junior engineers on best practices and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
Essential Skills:
Experience with Snowflake and Salesforce is preferred. Familiarity with retailer and distributor data ecosystems is a plus. Knowledge of digital media and consumer engagement platforms would be beneficial. Supporting AI and data agent initiatives is also advantageous. Understanding of dimensional modeling techniques is desirable.Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in enterprise data modeling and 5 years in designing analytical data warehouses. Proficiency in SQL and experience with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake are essential. Familiarity with Medallion Architecture and Corporate Information Factory methodologies is also required. Strong documentation skills using tools like Lucidchart are necessary.
