Competencies: 8-10+ years experience Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)
Top 5 Must have experience: 1. Strong Oracle ADF Upgrade Experience (ADF 12c → ADF 14c) Hands-on experience upgrading Oracle ADF Faces, ADF BC, task flows, bindings, and WebLogic deployments to WebLogic 14.1.2.x. 2. Java Modernization Expertise (JDK 8 → Java 21) Proven experience remediating deprecated APIs, handling `javax` to `jakarta` migration, JAXB/JTA changes, and upgrading enterprise Java applications to Java 21/GraalVM. 3. WebLogic & Middleware Migration Experience Deep understanding of WebLogic 12c/14c administration, deployment troubleshooting, JVM tuning (G1GC/ZGC), SSL/TLS 1.3 compatibility, webservice knowledge and OCI-based deployments. 4. Integration & API Upgrade Experience Experience upgrading and validating REST/SOAP integrations, Jersey migration (1.x/2.x → 3.x), SFTP/SSH integrations, Quartz scheduler, MyBatis, and enterprise middleware components. 5. Enterprise Application Support & Testing Mindset Strong regression testing, performance benchmarking, production support, and UAT bug-fix experience for mission-critical HR or financial applications in hybrid work environments.
