Role Descriptions: PRIMARY FUNCTION: This role will be to design, develop, and operate secure, scalable, and cost-effective
cloud-native GenAI solutions that integrate AIMI with the Go/AI platform, leveraging AWS serverless services,
event-driven architecture, multi-agent AI patterns, LLM integrations, and infrastructure automation to deliver
reliable backend capabilities and intelligent workflow automation.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development
· Understand software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
· Analyze business requirements, identify technical challenges, and contribute to the design and
architecture of GenAI and backend solutions.
· Develop clean, scalable, and efficient code using Python, Node.js, or Java.
Technical Expertise
· Demonstrate strong knowledge of AWS serverless services, including Lambda, Step Functions, Event
Bridge, S3, SNS, SQS, and IAM.
· Apply expertise in event-driven architecture and messaging patterns.
· Integrate and work with LLM APIs and GenAI frameworks such as OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock.
· Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
· Develop and maintain APIs using Open API/Swagger and reusable backend modules.
Application Development and Customization
· Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-native services, multi-agent AI components, and backend
integrations.
· Maintain and enhance GenAI applications to ensure optimal performance, scalability, reliability, and
cost efficiency.
· Develop reusable utilities for template parsing, dynamic content generation, and intelligent workflow
automation.
Integration Management
· Design and implement integration points between AIMI, the Go/AI platform, and other systems using
APIs, event-driven services, and AWS-native components.
Additional Responsibilities
· Assess the impact of new development or requested changes across the existing application landscape.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine technical requirements and implementation
approaches.
· Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, data flows, and developer
guides.
· Partner with QA and testing teams to support debugging, defect resolution, and code quality
assurance.
Day-to-Day Support
· Perform and coordinate development and support activities to meet departmental and project
objectives.
· Conduct root cause analysis for complex production issues and defects.
· Support incident management, minor demand management, and the implementation of innovative fixes and solutions. Qualifications and Education Requirements · 6+ years of professional experience in backend or cloud development using Python, Node.js, or Java. · 6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS serverless services and event-driven architectures. · Proven experience integrating LLM APIs or GenAI frameworks such as OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock. · Strong experience with Terraform and CI/CD automation, preferably using GitHub Actions. · Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. · Experience with API development, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON, and XML. · Ability to write technical specifications and document development work. · Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow. Preferred Qualifications · Experience with multi-agent AI platforms and MCP services. · Experience with .NET Core, JavaScript frameworks, or other frontend technologies is a plus. · Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. · Experience in Pharma or Life Sciences applications.
