We are looking to accelerate delivery timelines for software updates across our range of tooling used to manage Kerberos authentication and related activities at Morgan Stanley Ideal: Highly experienced UNIX/Linux systems/security engineer proficient in C systems and network programming and systems integration in an enterprise environment Must have: - Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating environments
- Proficiency with UNIX/Linux systems and network programming in C
- Experience with Perl programming
- Awareness of security concepts and defensive programming
- Familiarity with Kerberos
- Ability to work to delivery deadlines
Very nice to have - Experience of contributing to open source projects
- Familiarity with Python
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Nice to have: - Experience with deployment automation pipelines (Jenkins)
- Kerberos development experience
- Comfort working in an agile development environment
What we are not seeking: - Pure developers unfamiliar with deployment and problem resolution challenges
- Embedded C developers
- High level language developers unfamiliar with direct use of the UNIX/Linux C system interface
