Role Overview The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining an efficient, reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure environment aligned with business needs and technology strategy. This includes planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, and configuring system infrastructure to ensure cost-effectiveness, compliance with enterprise standards, and alignment with business and technology strategies.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure environment Plan, evaluate, recommend, design, and configure infrastructure solutions aligned with business and technology strategies Ensure infrastructure solutions are cost-effective and compliant with enterprise standards Design infrastructure solutions based on project non-functional requirements Produce required artifacts for architectural reviews, including Physical Infrastructure Diagrams Lead discussions and obtain approvals through Design Governance forums Collaborate with technology partners to support solution design and implementation
Technical Responsibilities
Design and support infrastructure across: On-Premises environments Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) Private Cloud and VMware environments
Apply deep understanding of:
System design and workflow diagrams High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architecture
Perform Visio modeling for infrastructure diagrams Design and implement multi-cloud strategies and placements Work with Azure zone and region design concepts
Apply knowledge of: Network components (LTM, App Gateway) TLS Security Support Governance, Audit, and Risk Assessment processes
Essential Skills Expertise in: Infrastructure design and solutioning (Cloud & Data Center) Multi-cloud environments: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, On-Prem VMware Cloud
Strong understanding of: System design and architecture diagrams High availability and disaster recovery strategies
Experience with: Network technologies (LTM, Application Gateway) Security protocols (TLS) Governance, audit, and risk frameworks
Proficiency in: Visio modeling and documentation |
