Job Description:

Required skills & experience:
Typically, between 10+ years of relevant experience and degree in a technology related degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Payment Systems (Mastercard, Interact, TSYS etc.)
Experience with leading project discussions, stakeholder analysis, requirements gathering etc..
Ability to ask the right questions to address any ambiguity
Use JIRA to track issues through various stages
Bring together business needs with vendor offerings
Adding value during the project by becoming a product SME
Base Understanding of Payment Networks – Mastercard, Cirrus, Interac, Visa and TSYS
Knowledge of authorization, posting and reconciliation processes for payment transactions
Familiarity with payment network architecture
Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.
Assists in the development of strategic plans.
Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy.
Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.
Supports business in production support, system enhancements, product upgrades and development.
Tracks metrics and milestones, makes recommendations for resolution and escalates as appropriate when issues arise.
May network with industry contacts to gather and identify competitive insights and best practices.
Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.
Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
