Role Descriptions: 1. Firewall Operations Support- Provide L2L3 support for FortiGate firewalls in production| DR| and non-production environments- Manage and support the Firewall policy configuration and optimization|NAT| VIPs| routing| and access rules| VPNs (IPSec| Site-to-Site| Remote Access SSL VPN)- Monitor firewall health| performance| and security events- Perform incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis2. Security Compliance- Ensure firewall configurations comply with enterprise security policies and BFSI regulatory requirements- Support audits| vulnerability assessments| and firewall rule reviews- Work with SOC and risk teams to support incident response and investigations3. Documentation Collaboration- Maintain accurate documentation (network diagrams| rule matrices| SOPs)- Collaborate with Network Infrastructure teams|SOC SIEM teams| Application and Cloud teams- Provide operational handover| KT| and support readiness documentation
Essential Skills: Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer with Fortinet Firewall Support. Below listed Mandatory skills is a must 1. Hands-on experience with Fortinet security products| primarily- FortiGate Firewalls- FortiOS- FortiManager (policy management central administration)- FortiAnalyzer (log analysis preferred)2. Strong understanding of- TCPIP| routing| DNS| NAT- Network security principles- Firewall policy design and best practices3. Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec| SSL)4. Experience in enterprise or BFSI environments preferredExposure to on-call rotation| or managed security services is a plus. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Clear verbal and written communication. Experience working with global teams and stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure in critical incident scenarios
