We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Business Process Management (BPM) and Appian low-code platform to drive digital transformation initiatives. The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams| ensuring efficient process automation| solution design| and delivery of scalable Appian applications.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit| analyze| and document business requirements (functional and non-functional). Conduct workshops| interviews| and process walkthroughs to understand current-state processes (AS-IS) and define future-state (TO-BE). Translate business needs into clear user stories| use cases| and acceptance criteria. Act as a trusted advisor to business and product owners.
2. BPM & Process Optimization Identify opportunities for process improvement| automation| and re-engineering. Create process maps| BPMN diagrams| workflows| and decision models. Define KPIs and ensure continuous process monitoring and optimization. Leverage Appians process modeling capabilities to design end-to-end workflows.
3. Appian Platform Expertise Work closely with Appian developers to design and deliver solutions using: Appian Process ModelerRecords| Interfaces (SAIL)| and ReportsIntegration objects (REST/SOAP APIs) Decision rules and expression rules Support solution design| backlog grooming| and sprint planning in Agile environments. Validate solution design to ensure alignment with business requirements.
4. Requirements Management & Documentation Develop and maintain: Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)User Stories and Epics (Agile format) Ensure traceability from requirements through testing and deployment. Maintain proper documentation for compliance and audits.
5. Agile Delivery & Collaboration Work within Agile/Scrum teams as a BA or Product Owner proxy. Participate in:Sprint planning Daily stand-ups Backlog refinement Sprint demos and retrospectives Prioritize backlog based on business value and feasibility.
