ROLE_DESCRIPTION -
15–18+ years of overall IT experience with 8+ years in delivery management / program management roles Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery of technology programs and applications across multiple workstreams Plan, execute, and track delivery milestones, schedules, risks, dependencies, and outcomes Ensure delivery commitments are met in line with SOWs, SLAs, client expectations, and quality standards Manage onshore/offshore delivery teams, ensuring optimal utilization and productivity Act as the primary point of contact for clients and senior stakeholders for delivery, status, and escalations Drive Agile and/or hybrid delivery models, including sprint planning, release planning, and execution tracking Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, issues, and dependency bottlenecks Ensure compliance with governance, security, risk, and audit requirements, especially in regulated environments Oversee production support, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA) to ensure platform stability Manage vendor and partner relationships, including performance reviews and issue resolution Track and optimize delivery costs, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans Provide leadership on process improvements, delivery efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives Additional Responsibilities
Partner with architecture, engineering, and product teams to align technology solutions with business needs Support roadmap planning and prioritization in collaboration with business and product stakeholders Drive adoption of best practices in SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and quality assurance Ensure transparent and timely reporting through dashboards, executive summaries, and governance forums Lead escalations management at client and leadership levels with data-driven resolution plans Support transition and transformation initiatives, including cloud modernization and automation programs Mentor and develop delivery leads, project managers, and technical leads Required Skills & Competencies
Delivery & Leadership
Strong experience in technology delivery, program/project management, and large-scale initiatives Proven ability to manage complex, multi-team, multi-vendor delivery models Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills Strong experience in client-facing roles within enterprise or BFSI environments Technical & Process Knowledge
Solid understanding of application development, integration, and infrastructure platforms Working knowledge of Java, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and DevOps models (hands-on not mandatory) Experience with Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery frameworks Familiarity with CI/CD, release management, and production support operations Governance & Operations
Experience managing SOWs, SLAs, KPIs, financials, and compliance metrics Strong understanding of risk management, audit readiness, and regulatory requirements Ability to drive incident, problem, and change management processes Preferred Qualifications
Experience in BFSI / Capital Markets / Financial Services environments Exposure to cloud migration, modernization, and automation programs PMP, SAFe, Scrum, or ITIL certifications (preferred, not mandatory)
