Role Description

  • At least 6-8 years of experience as a Project / Program Manager in Financial Services (preferably in the Compliance domain)
  • Experience in working across multiple teams and across the organization.
  • Strong communication skills – ability to work with senior leadership and communicate the right message based on the status of the programs
  • Must be highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Develops program-wide high-level project plans, aligned to scope, so stakeholders can understand when things are to be delivered.
  • Identifies and tracks key achievements and recommends adjustments to high-level project plans based on risks, issues, etc.
  • Ensures accurate reflection of project/program budgets, forecasts, and actuals with related tools.
  • Monitors and communicates the progress of the delivery and ensures timely and effective communication of the status in terms of cost, forecast, schedule, and assessment of risks/issues.
  • Negotiates and influences delivery teams to ensure appropriate support throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.
  • Anticipates program/project risks and issues and ensures that appropriate mitigation planning is in place to avoid compromising delivery.
  • Knowledge of tools like Jira, Rally, Agile SDLC (Capabilities, Feature, User-story) etc.
  • Experience of having worked in a PMO team would be an added advantage.
