Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in understanding business needs, analyzing data, and translating those insights into actionable strategies and solutions. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of SQL for data manipulation and analysis. Experience or knowledge in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and processes is a significant plus.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand business requirements, objectives, and challenges.
Elicit, document, and analyze business needs through various techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis.
Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and testable functional and non-functional specifications.
Develop and maintain process flows, use cases, and other relevant documentation.
Perform data analysis using SQL to extract, manipulate, and interpret data to support business decisions and identify trends.
Identify, analyze, and document business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams (developers, testers) to ensure clear understanding of requirements and facilitate effective implementation.
Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues.
Contribute to the development of training materials and provide user support as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Participate in projects related to AML compliance, including understanding regulatory requirements, analyzing transaction data for suspicious activity, and contributing to the development of AML systems and processes.
Contribute to projects where an understanding of AML principles would be beneficial. |
