Mandatory Skill set - Oracle Apps techno functional with Manufacturing and WMS domain experience
Detailed Job Description Functional/Technical Support & Issue Resolution · Provide daily support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules, including: o Manufacturing (WIP, BOM, MRP) o Warehouse Management / Inventory o Shipping Execution · Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority issues impacting production, material movement, picking, staging, packing, and shipping activities. · Perform root cause analysis and coordinate fixes with other teams when required. · Monitor interface errors and transactional failures; resolve or escalate appropriately.
2. Onsite Collaboration & Floor Presence · Be physically present in key operational areas such as: o Production floor o Shipping docks o Warehouse and storage areas · Work closely with users to understand issues in real time. · Validate system transactions directly at the point of activity (e.g., scanning stations, handheld devices, packing stations).
3. Customer & Stakeholder Interaction · Serve as the primary IT point of contact for plant operations teams. · Gather requirements for system enhancements or process improvements. · Communicate clearly with end-users during critical system issues and provide timely updates. · Collaborate with global IT, Oracle support teams, and business SMEs when needed.
4. Testing, Training & Documentation · Support testing during patch updates, system upgrades, and new feature deployments. · Create user guides, SOPs, and quick-reference materials for plant personnel. · Conduct training sessions for new users or when new functionalities are introduced.
5. Continuous Improvement · Identify recurring issues and propose process or configuration improvements. · Evaluate opportunities to optimize warehouse and shipping flows through system enhancements. Minimum years of experience needed- 10 years
