Test Lead - Hands on experience: NMS/ OMS, Emergency preparedness, Storm Mode mgmt. tool like Urbint or similar tools like ARCOS
Must-Have 1. Good Communication skills 2. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of • Distribution / Outage Management System (DMS / OMS / NMS) Experience • Electricity Transmission and Distribution business • Disaster Recovery • Test Lead experience for Electrical Utilities • Emergency preparedness, Storm Mode mgmt. tool like Urbint or similar tools like ARCOS, OMS • Integration of OMS with other systems 3. Good hands-on experience in different types of testing including functional and non-functional testing 4. Must have knowledge in various modules of SCADA/OMS/DMS products from different vendors such as OSI Monarch, SIEMENS, GE, and ABB and so on. 5. Aware of latest industry standards and technology trends.
Good-to-Have 1. Strong background in power system including power transmission, distribution 2. Expertise in industrial communication protocols/ standards like IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, OPC, CIM etc. 3. Comprehensive knowledge of recent trends in SCADA/DMS/EMS including but not limited to Smart Grid, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Cyber Security, IT-OT integration etc. 4. Knowledge in different kinds of Database, control center hardware, networking equipment, RTU etc. 5. Good understanding of Power Protection Systems.
SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Specific responsibilities include (but not limited to): • Work with customers to gather and develop testing requirements • Help translate a wide variety of client needs/requirements into detailed proposals and project plans to meet project’s requirements • Manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects of the testing activities from initial planning through completion of project • Proactively communicate testing status and other key aspects on a regular basis through monthly updates and other updates as critical developments occur. • Manage all interfaces and communication between client and Project Team and business stakeholders. • Ensure clarity of expectations for testing deliverables from all project participants whilst identifying potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize impact • Prompt defect management and co-ordination with stakeholders including product vendors 2 • Demonstrated success as a self-starter • Ability to work with a team and motivate the team to achieve project deadlines • Strong problem-solving skills using a methodical approach • Ability to create consensus among different stakeholders • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to the project/application stakeholders |
