Job Title: Senior Network Data Center Consultant
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6 - 9 months
Location: Boston, MA (Locals Only)
Job Description:

• 15 years of total experience in the Information Technology industry
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a network consultant
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience with data center core and edge routing and switching platforms in LAN/WAN/MAN environments (Cisco/Nexus, Juniper, Arista)
• Expert-level experience in network design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Expert knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and RIP
• Experience working with data center and network service platforms such as F5, Infoblox, and ACI
• Extensive experience with TCP/IP design, subnetting, and troubleshooting
• Layer 2 networking experience including Spanning Tree, VLANs, and 802.1Q
• Experience with wireless technologies in corporate environments
• Experience with remote access technologies including VPN and SSL
• Experience with SD WAN/MPLS solutions including Viptela, VeloCloud, Versa, FortiGate, and SilverPeak
• SBC device configuration and troubleshooting experience
• QoS expertise
• Network security experience with device configuration, troubleshooting, and analytics (ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, Illumio, Check Point, Zero Trust, Private Access, SASE)
• Scripting experience with Python
• Experience with voice and collaboration platforms including CUCM, Contact Center, Genesys, Avaya OneCloud, and Twilio (optional)
• Voice networking experience including SIP head end design and SBC technologies (Ribbon, Oracle, Cube) (optional)
• Experience with MS Teams cloud integrated voice and direct routing (optional)
• Experience with E911 integration including Intrado ERS/EGW and RedSky (optional)
• SIP protocol experience
• 10+ years of network experience in large global enterprise environments
• 15+ years of cross functional industry experience
• CCIE level knowledge or equivalent experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities
• Strong collaborative attitude
• Ability to work across business units and application teams to drive solutions
• Strong understanding of the technical big picture and system interdependencies
• Ability to multi task, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
• Ability to provide technical leadership to less experienced personnel
• Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
