Canada Life is seeking a seasoned Technology Lead to define and oversee the technical architecture and execution for our SAP S4HANA migration program. This role will ensure robust| secure| and scalable solutions across SAP landscapes| integrations| and compliance frameworks.
*******Candidates must be confident, with strong lead experience, able to define and run a program and talk to different stakeholders (not just technical know-how)********
Key Responsibilities: Define technical architecture for S4HANA deployment (on-premise| private cloud| or RISE) and overall system landscape. Oversee SAP BASIS operations| including environment setup| transport management| performance tuning| and system sizing. Guide extensibility models (in-app and side-by-side via SAP BTP) and manage custom code remediation strategies. Own security and authorization frameworks| ensuring SOX compliance and adherence to BFSI regulatory standards. Direct data migration approach using tools such as DMO and SLT| including archiving and data quality safeguards. Review and validate integrations with SAP PIPOCPI| APIs| and event-driven architectures for non-SAP systems. Establish CICD pipelines| DevOps practices| and automation for transports| testing| and system monitoring. Provide technical risk assessments and sign-off for cutover and go-live readiness.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science| Information Technology| or related field. 8 years of SAP technical leadership experience| including S4HANA architecture and migration projects. Strong expertise in SAP BASIS administration| performance optimization| and system sizing. Hands-on experience with SAP BTP| extensibility models| and custom code remediation. Deep understanding of security| SOX controls| and compliance requirements in BFSI environments. Proficiency in data migration tools (DMO| SLT) and integration technologies (PIPO| CPI). Experience implementing CICD| DevOps| and automation frameworks for SAP landscapes. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.
