| Job Description: |
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. • 12+ years of IT experience across architecture, requirements & design, development, testing, or application support. • 4+ years of MSO/Telecommunications experience with strong functional and technical skills in enterprise BSS systems and solutions architecture. • 4+ years of experience architecting and designing large scale enterprise solutions. • 2+ years of experience integrating or implementing complex systems and platforms including COTS, SaaS, and third party solutions using industry-standard frameworks and technologies. • 2+ years of experience in an Architecture organization delivering end to end strategic solutions and roadmaps. • Deep expertise in telecom domains such as BSS/OSS (CRM, billing, order orchestration, inventory, assurance), AIOps, service assurance, field operations, customer experience, and digital channels. • Practical experience with GenAI and LLM concepts (RAG, grounding, prompt engineering, evaluators, guardrails) and traditional ML (forecasting, anomaly detection, NLP, recommendation systems). • Working knowledge of industry standards such as TMF, MEF, ITIL, IETF, and IEEE (highly desired). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at leadership and engineering levels. • Proven ability to lead large, matrix managed technical teams including multiple vendors. • Experience driving full stack, end to end solution delivery with a strong understanding of how architecture decisions impact execution. • Leads end to end architecture for small business digital self service including plan comparison, quoting, simple CPQ, e signature, identity verification, instant credit checks (as permitted), and zero touch activation/provisioning. • Designs guided onboarding experiences including connectivity setup, device pairing, number porting, as well as digital care flows (chat, callbacks, knowledge base) and account management (users, lines, add ons, upgrades, moves/adds/changes). • Implements SMB focused bundles (connectivity + devices + security/SD WAN/UCaaS) with streamlined eligibility and pricing logic. • Enables usage based insights and contextual upsell opportunities using real time signals and propensity models. • Ensures inclusive, performant UX for small business teams through mobile first design, low friction flows, and role based access controls. • Develops the solution vision and documents solution architecture including systems mapping, integration strategy, and technology selection in collaboration with business owners, SMEs, and IT delivery teams. • Participates across all phases of the project lifecycle—from intake through implementation—to ensure architectural completeness and eliminate rework. • Contributes to feature definition, user story grooming, estimation, solution detailing, and resolution of architecture gaps or issues. • Leads requirements analysis and solution design workshops to determine system and integration needs. • Engages with business partners, product owners, and stakeholders to understand pain points, translate them into system requirements, and ensure alignment with architectural direction. • Ensures solutions are thoughtfully engineered, maintainable, operable, aligned with enterprise architecture, feasible to deliver on schedule, and positioned to provide expected business value. • Collaborates with IT delivery teams, platform architects, technical leads, release management, and project managers to ensure dependency resolution and avoid cross project impacts. • Drives system integration by defining interface specifications, technical design documents, and end to end data flows using standard methodologies and tools. • Participates in implementation activities including research, POCs, prototyping, compatibility testing, and evaluating new technology introductions. • Identifies and defines non functional requirements (performance, security, operational needs) and contributes to conceptual architecture development. |
