| Job Description: | What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities) Program Leadership & Strategy Alignment · Own the enterprise Data Strategy program roadmap, integrating initiatives across: o Data platform modernization o Data governance & operating model o Data products & domain enablement o Analytics, AI/ML, and decision intelligence · Translate business strategy and executive priorities into sequenced, funded program roadmaps with clear outcomes and success measures. · Ensure alignment between business value, architectural direction, and delivery capacity.
Portfolio & Dependency Management · Oversee a portfolio of interrelated projects, ensuring: o Cross-project dependency visibility and resolution o Consistent delivery standards and operating cadence o Balanced sequencing across data, technology, security, and business readiness · Identify systemic risks, trade-offs, and bottlenecks across projects; drive resolution with functional leaders. · Partner with Project Managers to remove escalated blockers and resolve cross-team conflicts.
Value Realization & Benefits Management · Own the program-level benefits case, including: o Value hypotheses and KPIs o Baseline vs. realized benefits tracking o Adoption, usage, and decision impact metrics · Ensure initiatives are designed for measurable business outcomes, not just technical delivery. · Course-correct investments based on realized value, changing priorities, or capacity constraints.
Governance, Operating Model & Standards · Establish and run program governance, including: o Executive Steering Committees o Investment and prioritization forums o Architecture, data governance, and security alignment checkpoints · Define and standardize: o Program delivery frameworks and guardrails o Common metrics, reporting, and escalation paths o Ways of working across Data, IT, and Business teams · Ensure consistency in data governance, privacy, and security-by-design across all initiatives.
Executive & Stakeholder Management · Act as the primary executive-facing owner of the Data Strategy program. · Provide clear, outcome-focused communications: o Program health, risks, decisions, and trade-offs o Progress against strategic objectives and OKRs · Facilitate enterprise-level decision-making where priorities conflict. · Build strong partnerships with senior leaders across Business, Technology, Legal, Security, and Finance.
Financial & Investment Oversight · Own program-level financial management, including: o Multi-year investment planning and sequencing o Budget allocation across projects and workstreams o Vendor strategy and spend optimization · Ensure funding decisions align to value delivery and strategic priorities.
Change, Adoption & Capability Building · Ensure the program delivers sustainable organizational change, not point solutions. · Oversee enterprise change strategy across: o Operating model shifts o Data ownership and stewardship adoption o New platforms, tools, and decision processes · Partner with Change, Comms, and Enablement leads to drive adoption at scale.

Qualifications Required · 10–15+ years of experience leading large-scale data, analytics, or digital transformation programs in complex enterprises. · Proven success managing multi-project portfolios with shared dependencies and executive visibility. · Strong understanding of: o Enterprise data platforms and architectures o Data governance and operating models o Analytics, AI/ML activation, and value tracking · Exceptional executive communication and influence skills. · Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across Business, IT, Security, Legal, and external partners.
Preferred · Experience in retail, wholesale, consumer, or luxury ecosystems. · Exposure to modern cloud data platforms and governance stacks. · Background in enterprise operating model transformation. · Certifications: PgMP, PMP, SAFe LPM, Prosci, or equivalent.
