Canada Life is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design| build| and optimize business intelligence solutions that support datadriven decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise| an analytical mindset| and the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop| deploy| and maintain Power BI dashboards| reports| and data models.
Translate business requirements into effective data visualizations and analytics solutions.
Build and optimize DAX measures| tabular models| and Power Query (M) transformations.
Connect to and integrate data from multiple sources including SQL| Azure| and enterprise systems.
Ensure data accuracy| quality| and performance across BI solutions.
Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements| validate outputs| and enhance usability.
Support governance| documentation| and best practices for BI development.
Required Qualifications:
3 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
Strong proficiency in DAX| Power Query (M)| and data modeling principles.
Experience with SQL| relational databases| and ETL concepts.
Ability to analyze complex data and present insights clearly to business users.
Understanding of BI lifecycle| security| and performance tuning.
Preferred Assets:
Experience with Azure Data Platform (e.g.| Data Factory| Synapse| Databricks).
Knowledge of insurance or financial services data domains.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
