Role Description: Serve as the primary interface between Crew Services business users and delivery teams (Product, Engineering, QA). Understand and document end-to-end Crew Management business processes, including: Crew Planning Rostering Pairings and Bid Awards Crew Scheduling Recovery Crew Tracking Day-of-Operations Fatigue Risk Management (FRMS) Regulatory and Contractual Compliance (FAA, EASA, union rules, CBAs) Facilitate business workshops to gather, analyze, and validate requirements. Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. Create and maintain artifacts such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) User Stories and Use Cases Process and data flow diagrams Collaborate closely with QATest teams to Review and validate test scenarios and test cases Ensure coverage of crew business rules, regulatory constraints, and edge cases Support System, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Communicate solution impacts, dependencies, and risks effectively to all stakeholders. Manage expectations across business and delivery teams. Required Skills Qualifications Strong hands-on understanding of Airline Crew Services Crew Management.
Experience working with Crew Management Systems (CMS) such as: Jeppesen, AIMS, Sabre Crew Manager, Navblue, or similar platforms.
Solid knowledge of: Crew legality rules Work rules and union contracts Crew recovery and disruption management Day-of-operations scenarios
Proven experience as a Business Analyst Functional Analyst Product Analyst in the airline domain. Strong ability to break down complex crew rules into functional and testable requirements. Experience writing detailed user stories with acceptance criteria. Ability to collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Testers effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. |
