| Job Description: |
- Architecture & Design: Lead end-to-end ETL architecture using IBM InfoSphere DataStage (v11.5 / v11.7), designing scalable data warehouse, ODS, and data mart schemas (Star and Snowflake).
- Development & Migration: Design, develop, and maintain complex DataStage parallel jobs, sequences, shared containers, and routines. Lead the migration of legacy DataStage versions to modern or cloud-integrated environments.
- Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot and fine-tune long-running, high-volume ETL jobs, database queries (Oracle, Teradata, DB2, Snowflake, or SQL Server), and server/cluster bottlenecks.
- Environment & Administration: Handle DataStage administration tasks, including patch installations, upgrades, configuration of plug-ins/connectors, and managing user security/projects.
- DevOps & Automation: Integrate DataStage deployments with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Ansible) and enterprise schedulers (Control-M, AutoSys).
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Act as a technical bridge between business analysts, data architects, and executive leadership. Estimate project efforts, conduct code reviews, and enforce data governance and quality standards.
